   I can't seem to figure out how to get KB Publisher to push out email notifications of new news articles when they are posted. My users have subscribed to the "news" but when I post a new "news" article, they are not notified.

   I've configured the email properly under settings -> email and can successfully receive the test email from the system

   Have I missed something??

   You should set up scheduled tasks.
